Use the handy tools and calculators that are included in the application software to save calculation time and to select material types to heat:
The first screen below can be used to select the recommended watt density and material type for heating a materiel using an electric heater. The second screen below is can be used to determine the electrical properties for an electric replacement heater that is used at a different voltage and wattage than it's rated value. This is handy for finding replacement heaters that are not in stock or cannot be procured.
Use the three phase calculator to enter any two values and calculating the remaining values for either a delta or wye wired circuit. The cold resistance can be found for Nichrome element electric heaters.
